Please support SoCal Divers!
NON-PROFIT 501c3
fully tax-deductible
Dear Friends, Family, Alumni, and Diving Community,
It's time for SoCal's Annual On-line fundraiser! Last year we hit our goal, let's do it again this year!
In 2011 SoCal Divers, Inc. a non-profit 501c3 youth sports organization was founded. Many believed the team would not last a year. Not only did we beat the odds, SoCal surpassed them! Here we are approaching 2020, ranked one of the top ten junior Olympic dive teams in the nation, produced many D1 College Divers, and have a few possible Olympians in the making!
The decision to create this team was because SoCal believed that sports and life are very parallel, our goal was to create an environment that fostered more than just good athletes, it was to have kids graduate as community ambassadors by fostering a learning environment that focuses on teaching leadership skills, goal setting, time management & what it takes to succeed beyond sports. Even though diving is an individual sport, SoCal was created to be a TEAM.
However, as I’m sure you can imagine, the program requires constant funding to survive and at the moment SoCal is in critical need of donations.
The program has recently experienced a series of unexpected cost increases, namely the college doubling our pool rent this season and in addition, requiring the funds from us in advance of using the facility which for a team that largely survives on donations is hard to overcome.
We are reaching out to you hoping that you will consider making a donation, as this program could not survive without the generous support of people like yourself!!
SoCal Divers, is incorporated as a 501(c) (3) so all donations are fully tax-deductible, in addition the team is fully accredited with USA Diving. An automatic tax receipt will be generated by fundrazr and emailed to you once you donate.
See below what the SoCal athletes have been up to. Please select a donation amount to keep this small team going. Your donation will allow the team to continue pool time and provide future College diving and Olympic opportunities to the younger athletes of this organization.
